Amazon’s merger of Whole Foods has some seeking a question: Who will Amazon acquire next?
“I wouldn’t be astounded if we see large acquisitions in media from [Amazon],” pronounced ex-Yahoo Interim CEO Ross Levinsohn told CNBC.
“If you’re Jeff Bezos and we usually saw a $14 billion squeeze usually produce a [multi] billion dollar boost in value, you’re beating we chops. we consider this is a initial of many,” pronounced Levinsohn.
Amazon has a prolonged story of acquisitions. The association bought Diapers, Zappos, and Twitch in a past. “And they’ve already done a good incursion into media sensitively and we wouldn’t be astounded … we know we’re gonna see [them make] a large run on merger in a media space, potentially,” he said.
Whole Foods isn’t a usually association a tech hulk has been rumored to be meddlesome in. “There was a snake over a final dual days about them shopping Slack,” pronounced Levinsohn. “They astounded everybody and bought a earthy retailer,” he said.
Levinsohn says no zone is protected from Amazon. “Are cars off boundary to Amazon?,” he said. “What if they bought UPS?”
